"The National Community and Reinvestment Coalition (NCRC) states through research and listening sessions it has observed that the underpinning of an individual’s health is the ability to maintain safe and affordable housing. Economic well being is intrinsically tied to social, physical and mental health, and financial instability has a direct ramification on a person’s health. Low- to moderate-income communities tend to suffer much more from health issues than wealthier neighborhoods."
AHARI provides programs to create pathways to self-sufficiency for homeless veterans, veterans at-risk of becoming homeless, their families, and under-served communities. AHARI also provides services for employers, HR professionals, and community programs needing mental health support.
MOBILE Hunger relief PROGRAM
