Your Giving Allows AHARI to Give to Those Less Fortunate Than Others
AHARI's MOBILE HUNGER RELIEF programs distributes over 1, 500 meals a month along with clothing, PPE, and household items to veterans, their families, and community at large in the Greater Philadelphia region.
By receiving food, personal care items, PPE, and household items, our under-served and overlooked community members are able to use their limited income for housing, bills, transportation for work, childcare for children, and more.
While the food and many of the items are donated, AHARI incurs considerable costs in warehousing, transporting and distributing the goods. AHARI also supplements and enhances the giveaways to ensure those who are underserved receive quality items along with a great big smile :)! We need your help to reach a larger population.
